21. SECRET HIDEAWAYS CLOSED Ah to be a kid again! Especially at this Grandma’s house! A room created just for those special grandkids, this room boasts four bunk beds or sleeping berths each partially enclosed with a beadboard arch giving each space privacy & a cozy, cocoon like feel. Make a lamp to hang at each headboard. Faux drawers under each set of beds & under the cushioned window seat allow for storage. But the key focus of the room is the plantation shuttered window also made in class. Above the window is a deep shelf for displaying special treasures. Plantation shutters will be painted white to give the room a crisp neutral base which can coordinate with color & fabric of your choice. To customize the room, you may bring your own two or three sheets of wallpaper, 12 1/2” x 8” flooring and 1/4 yard fabric for the bedspreads. Or if you prefer, paper and flooring will be provided. The roombox is 13”w x 10”h x 10”d. You will be using power tools in class. Reservations must be received by March 1. |
