72.  MORRIS CHAIR AND OTTOMAN

This working Stickley Morris chair and ottoman are made from precut cherry. The Morris chair was a precursor of our modern recliner. The back pivots allowing the tilt to be changed by moving the back support rod between the notches. The chair and ottoman will be upholstered in a leather-like fabric.  No sewing.  In addition to the color shown, there will be 3 other fabrics from which to choose.

All supplies are provided by the instructor except as indicated, however, students are welcome to bring

their own tools & supplies.
