#1. DRESSED DOLL

Jordan, a late Victorian early Edwardian Lady, is on her way to to her next adventure.  By twisting her body you will learn how to add motion to your doll by arranging the fabric to follow her motion.  Even the faux pleats seem to have motion.  Jordan is a china painted porcelain doll that you will dress in fine silks and vintage laces.  Students will learn how to piece lace to make it fit our miniature world.  Students will learn basic shoe making using silk with leather soles.  Hat making techniques using store bought mulberry paper flowers and breaking them down to fit 1:12 scale.  Next it is on to viscose wigging to set the hat on.
