14. CRUST PIES PREPARATION TABLE
Manuela Michieli
Tuesday 1 pm - 9 pm $285
Many of us remind the pleasant time in childhood spent helping our granny, or our mom, to prepare a homemade cake with jam or apples and cherries. Bring back this pleasure into your miniatures while learning. Polymer clay basics and advanced information will be given and used: translucent, liquid and normal polymer clay will have no more secrets for you. Beside crust pies, apples and cherries we will also create some kitchen tools. As it always happens in all of my workshops, every item has been carefully chosen to teach how to use a material or to learn a specific technique that I am sure you will treasure in the future, for this reason different creative mediums will be used too. I love collaborations so one special touch will be added by a kitchen tool created brand new for this workshop on my request by IGMA Artisan Silvia Cucchi… and we will use it too! Beginners are very welcome; teacher will guide in the making of this miniature scene step by step. Everything needed to create the scene you see in the picture is included into the kit that will be given each student. During the workshop teacher will have some tools to share however, students are welcome to bring their own tools (e.g. small scissors, pointed tweezers, xacto knife, a small paintbrush, a magnifier lamp if needed). On my blog at http://www.manuelamichieli.com you will find the complete list of tools used.
All supplies are provided by the instructor
except as indicated, however, students are
welcome to bring their own tools & supplies.
