#2. THE CUTEST FARM STAND EVER?
Teresa Layman
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8 am - 9 pm $670
It just might be! And, it’s back by popular demand! Don’t miss your chance to take this wonderful workshop! Thank you to all who requested it. Please join me to create your own lovely, "cottage-core" inspired farm stand on wheels. You can fill it to your heart's desire... Fruits and veggies? Flowers? Baked goods? Jams and Jellies? Books? Potions? 4th of July? Halloween? Christmas? So many possibilities! I created my original as a Beekeeper's honey stand, but this year I've dedicated it to all things Valentine's day (see photos). For this year's workshop I have changed the back doors and added a a flip-up awning to the back. The accessories, flowers and doilies shown in the photos are not included. All the necessary materials needed for the structure will be supplied, and I will share my tools. However, you are welcome to bring your own tools. If you would like a different color of paint than the ivory shown in the photo, please feel free to bring it, or contact me with questions. If you like the look of wallpaper on the interior, you can bring that as well, and install it in class. We will be using my own, custom-designed, laser-cut pieces to build the doors and window, which will speed up the process by greatly reducing time needed to cut and fit these fiddly pieces. Learn my secret for making gorgeous cottage-style mullioned windows, how to sequence the building process, as well as building and finishing techniques. I will bring some general farm stand signs for you to use. But, if you want something special, you may design your signs ahead of time and bring them to install. The size for each of the signs (front and side wall) will be provided before the workshop. Or, if you would like me to create your signs, I will take commissions. There will be a cutoff date of February 20, 2026 for this service. Please contact me for details katerken@optonline.net . The photos show my farm stand set up as a purveyor of Valentine treats, as well as the structure by itself, ready to fill with goodies. This is a great project to showcase your special collection of themed accessories so they can really be seen! I will provide a box for your project to travel home safely.
All supplies are provided by the instructor except as indicated,
however, students are welcome to bring their own tools & supplies.
