Imagine crafting a miniature world where sparkling beaded trees sway in the breeze, charming basket cradles tiny apples, and vibrant textile landscape stretches to the horizon.  Step into a world where creative shines—literally!  Join Natalia for an extraordinary hands-on mixed media workshop where you’ll bring nature to life and explore three unique techniques. Craft an electrified beaded tree weaving delicate beads into a shimmering tree and add a tiny light source that makes your creation sparkle and glow in the dark.  Weave a charming coiled basked and fill it with hand-crafted miniature beaded apples - a perfect little celebration of abundance and craftsmanship.  Finish a lush textile landscape using punch needle embroidery - laying textures, colors, and stitches to create a soft, rich, natural scene.  You’ll learn to combine fiber art, beadwork, and light technology into one-of-a-kind creation; master the basics of coiling, punch needle texturing, and structured beading; take home a completed project that blends tradition, innovation, and creativity!  The kit includes everything sufficient to finish the project; all materials, tools, and light kits, step-by-step instructions, a supportive, inspiring environment to explore your creativity.  You are welcome to bring your favorite tools as well.  You’ll leave with not just a beautiful art piece but also the confidence and skills to keep creating glowing, textured, and dimensional artwork on your own!

 

All supplies are provided by the instructor except as indicated, however, students are welcome to bring their own tools & supplies.
