51.  TANTALUS WITH TWO DECANTERS

Tantalus with origins from Greek mythology - the English word tantalize, meaning to torment in the site of something desirable but out of reach. When the tantalus drawer is locked the decanters are inaccessible. From a prepared cutting list of timber, brass hardware and a decanter set, you will make the drawer and case. After fitting the handle and brass decoration, a finish will be applied. Detailed booklet provided to finish at home. Approximate size 1 1/8” high x 1 1/8” wide x 5/8” deep

 

All supplies are provided by the instructor except as indicated, however, students are welcome to bring their own tools & supplies.
