This workshop is available in both 1/24th and 1/12th scale, so why not join us in creating this classic medieval structure with a water wheel attached. It can be completed as a dwelling or as a ‘working’ mill with an extra kit.  The kit for the mill workings is not included, however it is available for $250.00.  The kit includes pipework, cogs, millstones and housing, grain cleaner, grain and flour chutes, sacks of grain and flour. Please indicate on the booking form if you would like to finish this building as a mill and are purchasing the extra kit or as a home.  This 4 roomed building sits on the banks of a stream with a bridge connecting the mill garden to the outside world.  The prototype is in half scale which makes transport and home display more convenient, however as previously stated a 1/12th scale version is available if preferred. Please indicate on your booking form which scale you would prefer.  Some of the techniques you will be learning include how to create stone floors, working with xps foam sheet, landscaping, working with resin (learn how to create a stream and falling water), how to apply realistic looking grass.  Kit for mill workings is $250.  This includes pipeworks, cogs, mill stones, millstone housing, grain cleaner, grain and flour chutes, and sacks of grain and flour.  Please indicate on your booking for if you would like to finish this building as a mill or home.  Base of the 1/2 scale version is 22" x 15".

All supplies are provided by the instructor except as indicated, however, students are welcome to bring their own tools & supplies.
