2.  MID CENTURY WALL UNIT IN ROOMBOX

Mid-Century modern style is hot!  This style is characterized by clean simple lines. The decorations are kept simple and sober.  In three days we are going to build a cosy Mid-Century interior corner in 1:12 scale. This corner will have Mid-Century patterned wallpaper and matching carpeting and curtains. The making includes a wall-unit with several shelves, desk, large cupboard with sliding doors and small open cupboard. We will make the two chairs and a typical Mid-Century coffee-table to make the interior complete. You will also learn how to upholster the cushions of the chair.  You can fill the wall-unit with your own accessories such as books, a vase or plants.  Bring sharp scissors.  Due to airline restrictions please bring your own x-acto knife and cutting mat.  A portable light is highly recommended.  The rest will be provided in the kit!
