34.  FRENCH LOUIS XV STYLE CLOCK ON PEDESTAL

A typical example of Louis XV style, this elegantly shaped bracket clock and pedestal will compliment any room or alcove.

From a prepared cutting list of timber, veneer and brass the clock will be shaped, assembled and 

veneered before fitting the clock face.

Brass decoration will be applied. This is not a working clock, but will be the correct time twice a day.

The pedestal will be veneered, with moldings and decorative brass strip mitered around. The plinth 

(base) will be shaped on the front and sides.

Approximate size in 1/12th scale, 5 1/4" high  1 1/4" wide and 3/4" deep.

Completion is likely in class however a detailed booklet is provided to complete the piece at home.

All tools and supplies will be provided however please feel free to bring small tools and any optical 

equipment you may require.

ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED BY THE INSTRUCTORS EXCEPT AS INDICATED, 

HOWEVER, STUDENTS ARE WELCOME TO BRING THEIR OWN TOOLS & SUPPLIES.
